The Great Conversation

This blog will document my progress through the reading of Great Books from throughout the milennia.

I will create a reading list, and will begin making my way through that list.

For each book I read, I will summarize the book, and talk about any important ideas that sprang from it. This structure will obviously differ depending on whether it was a work of philosophy, or fiction, or poetry, or history or science/math.

It would be ideal to create somewhat of a schedule, so that readers of this blog can choose to read along and join into any discussions. A forum would be useful to this end as well.
